Continuing Programs
In addition to our Weekly Classes, The Grove has programs to support our local community on a continuous basis.
The Plarning Initiative

The Green Man Alliance hosts a monthly "plarning" circle. Volunteers are needed to cut plastic bags into strips, and to crochet the strips into sleeping mats which are donated to Broward Homeless Outreach for the unhoused community in Broward County.

Metals Recycling Program
The Green Man Alliance wants your recyclable metals, especially aluminum and tin. The GMA keeps these valuable materials out of the landfill by donating them to a metals recycling center which can make them into something new.
Craftivism

Craftivism is the use of crafting as activism. This can involve creating a piece of art that prompts reflection, leaving a trinket to inspire the finder, or selling a handmade item to raise funds for various causes. Refer to the calendar for craft nights at the Grove with a purpose.
